In 2006 while employed with a major US media giant, a young African is building, launching and managing very successful online products. He decides that he should use his expertise to create an online video site only for his beloved Africans around the world. Afrovision TV is born.

Afrovision TV has morphed into a variety of things over the years, from a subscription-based video streaming site to a real TV station with talk shows featuring music artists and movie producers to a constantly growing social networking community.
